I think your laptop does not support the keyboard shortcut to access the screen brightness.

You can change the screen brightness on a Windows laptop from the battery settings.

1. Press the Windows and i keys together. The Settings window will open.
2. Click on System and Select Power & Sleep from the left menu.
3. Click on Additional Power Settings.
4. Now, you can change the power plans with different display brightness settings.
