How Do You Connect to a Hidden Network in Windows 11?
Is there any easy method to connect to a hidden wireless network? My roommate made his WiFi network invisible. But he permitted me to connect to it with my laptop. The problem is my laptop cannot find the network, and he is in his home town.

How to Connect to a Hidden Network Automatically?
You can manually add your Windows laptop to a hidden WiFi network (if you have the wireless network name and password). Let me explain the steps.
Press the Windows and i keys together. Now, you are at the Windows settings page.
Tap on the Network and Internet and select the WiFi. You can see the WiFi from the left menu.
Click on Manage New Known Networks. Windows will let you enter the wireless network name and password of the hidden network.
Select the Connect Automatically option before saving the new network.

Making an SSID invisible will not give any extra security. Windows will detect it as unnamed Wireless connection. Just use the scan feature.James Smith wrote: ↑09 Dec 2023, 10:21 Is there any easy method to connect to a hidden wireless network?
