Getting Annoying Vibration Whenever Phone Gets a Google Chat message

I am annoyed with the continues vibrations on my phone whenever someone sends Google Chat messages. I tried to disable the vibration but it does not work.

Go to the notification and disable vibration feature.

You should find which App is getting updated or synchronised (unless it is google chat) and turn off notification for it.
