Windows 11 Administrator Account Says Not Enough Permission to Run This App

Hello, I have installed a custom App developed by a software development team in my company on my Windows 11 laptop. It is a communication software compatible with the Windows platform. The problem is that while giving permissions, I receive the warning that I do not have enough permission to run this app. I am already in my Windows 11 administrator account, so I am confused why this account does not have enough privileges to run an application. Any help?

First, try to right click on the app and select Run as Administrator. If that doesn’t work, go into the app’s properties and check the app’s permissions to make sure you have the full control of your account. If the User Account Control settings are too high, you could also try temporarily lowering the User Account Control for no risk of security then turn it back on again afterward. Let me know how it goes!

Hello Stephy, I guess Windows Security settings on your laptop prevents the App from running. Check the Windows security settings and temporarily turn it off. I belive that will solve the problem.

I checked that and tried to run the App with administrative rights. Still, the App is not working.

I turned off the Windows Security. But still I receive the Windows notification of you do not have enough permissions to run this App.

@Stephy Johnson
Does your laptop have a third-party Firewall or security suite installed? If so, turn it off and run the App. Let us know the result.
