Hello my name name is Rasheed and I am a travel blogger. I joined Google Search console and submitted a few pages in it. But, instead of indexing the blog pages, Google shows this error.

Why does Google show this error instead of indexing the blog page?

Do not worry. Check the source code of the blog post and look for the canonical meta tag. Google indexed the canonical URL instead of the page you submitted.

If you want to index that specific page in search engines, remove the canonical tag.

Welcome to our forum Rasheed. The error message "Page indexing error: Page is not indexed: Alternate page with proper canonical tag" says this page was a duplicate page with canonical tag pointing to another page.

So, Google indexed the page mentioned in your canonical tag instead this page.
