Why I See Ping Unknown Host Error Message?

Hello, I am getting a strange error code when I ping any website from my computer. It shows Unknown host as the reply when I ping from the command prompt. Example is Ping Unknown Host facebook .com

Ping Error unknown host means your computer could not find the host. There must be an error on your computer while resolving the domain name (facebook) to the IP address.

Sorry for the long absence, thanks Yashika for support. The problem disappeared and I forgot about it. Still, I am curious to know why this error originated.
